History
The beginnings of AKS date back to 1919, the year in which the structure engineering called Andrews Kent Stone based in London was founded. Due to an increasing demand for engineering services in Gibraltar, in 1987 AKS opened a local office headed by Barry Brindle, this office initially concentrated on structural designs, but the growing demand caused the office to expand its services to offer comprehensive architectural design and project management.
In October 2011, motivated again by a demand from customers for a more specialized project management service, David Muskett joined the team to found AKS Management.
AKS continues to maintain important links with the practices of the United Kingdom, being today a consulting formed by AKS Architects and Engineers and AKS Management with a team of more than 25 qualified professionals in different disciplines.
AKS Management currently offers professional services throughout Europe under the standards of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

George llinoiu
George is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor Honorary Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) with over 25 years' experience in commercial and contract management. His experience spans all stages of the contracting and consulting development cycle, from project inception to occupancy and delivery. George holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, a former professor at the Technical University of Construction in Bucharest, and a lecturer in construction technology with an extensive list of research publications.
